Ok, I'm sitting in Paris and at first I was thinking "nah, I'm used to Paris, it's not big deal, I won't miss it" but I lied to me. I'm apparently very good at that. Seeing what's here, hearing the people, catching snatches of french, even riding in the metro! I can feel already that all this is to be dearly missed by your's truly. However, I will enjoy the time that's left. Oh Paris, how you made your way into my heart :)
It feels so empty in the 95 without all the Erasmus students. It's bizarre, really. When you're used to being surrounded by people and then, soudainment, everyone is gone. It kinda puts one at a loss. But, you move on. Ah la vie Erasmus! (see how I used "one" to sound fancy and then used "you" right after? ;) )
I'm thinking about taking a day and coming and seeing all the things that I might have missed or just going back to all my favorite places. To commemorate, if you will. (or if I will) Pending operation!
I was informed there's a Harry Potter premiere here!? That would be awesome, I think Priscilla is trying to score us some tickets. (I'm not a huge fan of the movies; I feel they stray too far from the true characters in the book, but quand même, I'm excited!)
On going home, I have a 12 hour layover in Stockholm! It's going to be at night so I don't really know what I'm going to do about that yet. I do know that I'll probably stay the night in the airport though, so I'm hoping either I can go see something interesting that's still available at night, or that they have wi-fi....
(On a side note) Why have I not read "The Mists of Avalon" before? It's quite good, I'm glad I'm doing so. I forgot how I missed fantasy stories of that type!
